University
The University of Western Australia (UWA) enjoys the status of being oldest university in Western Australia. The university was founded in 1911 and since then it has excelled in providing dependable academic programs and research programs. The university has set up most prominent campuses at Crawley, Claremont and Albany Centre.
There are nine faculties accommodated by the UWA. These include Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts; Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; Business; Education; Engineering, Computing and Mathematics; Law; Life and Physical Sciences; Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and Natural and Agricultural Sciences.
The university is the proud member of prestigious Group of Eight and this is a favourable aspect of this educational platform. Apart from this, the university is also the member of Sandstone Universities. The number of students enrolled with the university is 18,252. The total number of students includes as many as 3,390 students. The university offers extensive research programs, which are joined by researchers from all over the world.
The university has grown in the time period of so many years to offer distinguished services to international students. The university has employed 24 hours contact offices to assist various students in extracting information about the university. The new students are facilitated to join a variety of courses and programs in different fields.
Major areas of study

International Student services
The university offers various administrative and support services to the international students. These services include student counselling, medical services, social activities, welcome and orientation week, career counselling, English language support and religious facilities.
Accommodation
The housing services are offered in the form of shared and vacant accommodations by five colleges affiliated to the university. These include Currie Hall, St Catherine's College, St Thomas Moore College, St George College and trinity.
Airport Pickup
The airport pickup facilities are provided by the university free of cost. You can visit the university website to avail these services prior of enrolling with any course or program in the university.
Orientation Meeting
The orientation meetings are conducted by the university before the beginning of every new session. These meetings are meant for introducing the new students to environment and rules and regulations of the university, apart from welcoming them.
