The University of Western Australia (UWA) enjoys the status of being oldest university in Western Australia. The university was founded in 1911 and since then it has excelled in providing dependable academic programs and research programs. The university has set up most prominent campuses at Crawley, Claremont and Albany Centre.

There are nine faculties accommodated by the UWA. The total number of students includes as many as 3,390 students. The university offers extensive research programs, which are joined by researchers from all over the world.

The housing services are offered in the form of shared and vacant accommodations by five colleges affiliated to the university. These include Currie Hall, St Catherine's College, St Thomas Moore College, St George College and trinity.
