The University campus is located on a vast area in the Bruce suburb which sprawls over 120 hectares. The campus provides substantial student accommodation facilities. It is located nearby the Belconnen community which has adequate transport services for carrying students in and around the Canberra suburbs. Student centre takes care of the general enquiries regarding administration like Admission, Examination Timetable, Student Administration, Enrolment help, Transcript requests, Fees payment, issue of ID cards, scholarship advice, graduation information, credit applications, cross-institutional study applications, prior learning recognition applications and clashes in class timetable.
Accommodation
The students can opt for on-campus student residences, staying alongside Australian families, group houses or private rental residences. Students usually prefer to complete their initial semester by staying on campus. Accommodation facilities are available for about 1,100 students. The international students, who comprise about 15% of the University’s student population, live in University’s residences.
Six self-catering, residential buildings are available for on-campus accommodation which can be shared by females as well as males. Bedrooms are fully furnished and are allotted on a single basis whereas the kitchen and bathroom facilities are usually shared between groups.
Airport Pickup
International students are collected from the international airport of Canberra by the University’s International Office, provided they are informed well in advance about the arrival.
Orientation Meetings
Orientation programs are conducted for each and every international student arriving to study here. The program includes topics such as course advice, information sessions about Australian living and education, and registration help in the respective study programs.
Opportunities to Study Abroad
Students belonging to other countries can experience about six to twelve months of Australian student life. Prospective students can opt for any of the courses available in the University.
