The research profile of the University constitutes 400 students pursuing their doctoral level courses in phytochemistry, environmental science and plant genetics at world class study centres.
The University campuses are located in Coffs Harbor, Lismore and Tweed Gold-Coast in the northern part of New South-Wales. It takes around one hour to reach here by air from Brisbane and Sydney. Regular flights and good connectivity by rail and road facilitates students for easily accessing these cities. The University provides a modern, friendly, and secure environment, owing to its distance from big cities. Developed public facilities and low cost of living makes it even more enticing to study in the University.
Students also have the option of studying select programs from specialist centres located in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. They can also opt for overseas locations like China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand and Thailand. Accommodation
The campuses of Coffs Harbor and Lismore provide on-campus accommodation which constitutes a self-catering apartment. Assistance is provided by the University in finding off-campus accommodation like rented houses or home stay accommodation.
Airport Pickup
The University’s International Office has to be informed well beforehand by the arriving students so that their pick up gets properly arranged.
Orientation Meetings
The orientation schedule differs on the basis of number of semesters. For trimester courses, orientation occurs during January, May and August respectively, whereas for most of the other courses, it occurs during February and July.
Opportunities to Study Abroad
The University exchange program provides excellent opportunities to students for studying abroad in universities of North America, UK, Asia and Europe, for completing one or two semesters of their study.
