International Student Services

Assistance is provided to international students in the form of airport reception, study skills advice, orientation program, careers advice, legal and financial advice, personal counselling and health care. Assistance with on-campus as well as home stay or off-campus accommodation is also provided. Educational facilities provided to students include highly qualified staff, modern computing resources, studios, laboratories, libraries and workshops. Social activities and sports are organized through a number of associations and student clubs.

Accommodation

Deakin students can avail four kinds of accommodation which include on-campus accommodation for a long term, full-board accommodation, homestay and rented private houses with the help of DUSA4U. On-campus accommodations are single room houses having computer and phone access with proper furniture, carpeting and heating arrangements. Bathrooms, recreational areas, kitchens and laundry are shared.

Airport Pickup

The Reception Officer of the University arranges the airport reception of new students and provides transport to your accommodation.

Orientation Meetings

An Enrolment and Orientation Program is conducted during the commencement of every semester. The program includes introduction to peers and support staff, campus tours, enrolment assistance, social functions and information sharing about the University facilities and services.
