Entry Requirements: Applicants must have a degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary educational institution. The qualification would normally be in engineering, cartography, surveying, geographic information science, applied science or in a relevant planning, geography, environmental, biological or agricultural science. International students may need to substitute a communication unit for one of the specialist optional units subject to an English communication diagnostic test. For International students an overall academic IELTS band score of at least 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in speaking and writing, 6.0 in Reading and Listening; or a TOEFL score of at least 570, or 230 in the computer-based TOEFL or an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 92 (in each section 23).
