Entry Requirements: Applicants must hold an approved undergraduate Engineering degree with appropriate electronic content, or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Some basic knowledge of biology and chemistry will be assumed. An applicant who has not previously studied electronics may be required to undertake appropriate bridging studies. The Graduate Certificate (Biomedical) is not available to graduates of the Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical and Electronics), the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical) or of equivalent undergraduate courses from other tertiary institutions. For International students an overall academic IELTS band score of at least 6.0 with a minimum score of 6.0 in speaking and writing; or a TOEFL score of at least 550 (with a minimum Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5), or 230 (with an essay rating of at least 4.5) in the computer-based TOEFL, or a TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) of 90 (with a score of 20 in all bands).
