Campuses of CSU are located in regional areas of Australia whereas the study centres can be found in Sydney and Melbourne. The University was established in the year 1989 with a history in research and education stretching back to over a century. Courses have been designed in such a way that employment opportunities are maximized by providing modern technology, practical experiences and facilities according to modern industry standards.
CSU is the best University of Australia for distance education and also the largest amongst all other non-metropolitan Universities in Australia, offering about 500 courses, being availed by nearly 35,000 students all over the world, out of which 22,276 students were distance learners, 11,985 students studied in main campuses and the international students were about 5,821 in number. The class sizes in CSU are usually smaller which helps in improving teaching relationships, thereby creating a genuine learning environment. High emphasis is laid on research programs for working towards regional as well as global matters.

Student advisers assist international students in their accommodation and familiarization with administrative processes, campus facilities and teaching. Accommodation
Various comfortable, affordable and convenient accommodation options are available at regional campuses as well as study centres, suiting the budget and lifestyle of all kinds of individuals. One can opt for a self-catered or full board accommodation on campus. Lodges, student residences and home stay accommodations are also available off campus.
Airport Pickup
The reception service takes care of collecting the students from the airport when they arrive in the city selected by them to pursue their course.
Orientation Meetings
An academic year in a CSU campus is divided in three sessions. The first session begins its intake from February, second from July and third from November (only for the study centres). For courses that are offered on a trimester basis (MBus & MBA), the first session begins its intake from January, second from May, third from September.
Opportunities to Study Abroad
As against the original program, now, even those students who are not actively pursuing full time degree programs in a University can avail the study abroad opportunities by taking up to twelve months of study in any of the CSU campuses.
